Mother Teresa: “Do It Anyway”

I came across to this site, and found it interesting to make a copy here in my blog.

People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and sincere, people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.

What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway.

Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway.

In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.

A prayer on this standard-based repetition day

All I’m about to say is thank you….

and thank you….

For everything…. for the ups and downs….

for the joy and sorrow….

No, no asking for good things to happen…. at least not for today….

for the goods are just compliment of the bads…. filling the time-space that has been granted….. thank you….

Oh yeah…. sorry, but my human nature still governs, and there might be some little stuffs that I may want to ask for…. nothing much….

It’s just enough food, enough sleep, enough smile, and of course enough love…. Hope it’s not too much….

Once again, without any concern of being granted or not, thank you before…. for being granted is just a compliment of not being granted, and the time-space is a gift I’ve received.

errrr….. I dunno if I have to include this, but as with all prayers do, before I go to bed….. let me say………………………………………….. amen.
